The position requires a positive, energetic, and detail-oriented person who has exceptional customer service skills. Multitasking and excellent verbal skills are a must. Must have experience in the dental field, great attitude, positive mindset, and phenomenal customer service skills. Open Dental knowledge is an asset. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling patients, presenting treatment plans, taking patient payments and general management of the office flow. This will be a part-time position with ample room for growth leading to an eventual full-time position. Salary based upon experience.

Vitally important qualities for a Patient Care Coordinator include but are not limited to:
· Providing friendly, patient centered care to all those who walk through our door and/or call our practice.
· Participating in daily meetings.
· Phone conversations to and from patients.
· Checking patients in and out for appointments.
· Confirming, scheduling and rescheduling appointments.
· Maintaining a productive, highly effective, and efficient schedule.
· Making sure the reception and working area is tidy and visually pleasing to all.
· Assisting patients with forms and understanding services available.
· Collecting payments and accounting of them.
· Interacting with referring and adjacent practitioners.
· Preparing correspondence to patients and other providers alike.
· Team collaboration for the best work/patient environment.
· Data entry into practice management software.
· Managing patient records while adhering to all HIPAA protocols.
Qualified employees will have the following skills:
· 1+year dental experience
· Microsoft office, email, dental management software and general computer knowledge.
· Highly developed verbal skills.
· Organized and able to complete numerous tasks at one time while under minimal supervision.
· Great team player with a drive to exceed patient expectations.
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
