As a Patient Care Coordinator at our chiropractic office, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional patient experiences and smooth operations. 2. Appointment Management: From scheduling initial new patient appointments to follow-up visits, you'll manage the appointment calendar efficiently. Your attention to detail will ensure accuracy in scheduling and prevent any scheduling conflicts.
3. Insurance Coordination: Handling insurance matters is a critical aspect of the role. You'll verify insurance coverage, explain benefits to patients, and assist with insurance claims processing to facilitate seamless reimbursement.
4. Administrative Support: Administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records, managing billing and payment processing, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations will be part of your daily routine. Your organizational skills will keep the office running smoothly.
5. Patient Education: You'll provide basic information about chiropractic care, treatment options, and wellness practices to patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
6. Collaborative Team Player: Working closely with other staff such as chiropractors, licensed massage therapists, rehab specialists etc. , you'll contribute to a cohesive team environment focused on delivering holistic Patient Care. Busy Chiropractic clinic is seeking someone to fill the position of Patient Care Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, be detail oriented and be both friendly and professional. We use Drchrono EHR for scheduling, billing, and charting so good computer skills are a must. Scheduling knowledge along with basic insurance and billing familiarity is desirable. Referral and prior authorization experience are also helpful. This position is full time.
