Dental Patient Care Coordinator/Scheduler

Beaverton Oral Surgeons is a large and growing, high quality Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical practice. We're seeking experienced self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals who are phenomenal with patient relations and customer service to join our team as Patient Care specialists. To be successful in this role, an Oral Surgery Scheduler should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They should also have a solid understanding of oral surgery procedures and the ability to work well with others. Scheduling and dental experience is required. Job description: Primary responsibility is to schedule appointments. This involves coordinating with patients, our doctors, and referring offices to find a suitable time and date for the procedure. Must confirm appointments with patients, reminding them of time and date and ensuring they have all necessary instructions or preparations for their upcoming appointment. Must maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and insurance information. Must be able to verify patient insurance coverage, obtain pre-authorization for procedures, and ensure that insurance claims are processed correctly. You must be able to communicate effectively with staff members, doctors, patients, and referring offices to provide exceptional Patient Care.
