We're seeking a confident and engaging Social Media Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you'll collaborate with our Marketing Lead to shape and execute our Social Media strategy, ensuring brand consistency and fostering meaningful engagement with our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, schedule, and oversee Social Media posts across various platforms for both Modern Display and Modern Expo & Events. These companies are affiliated as sisters, and while your primary focus will be on Modern Display, you will also contribute to the Social Media presence of Modern Expo & Events.
- Identify and establish partnerships with influencers aligned with our brand image and goals.
- Stay updated on the latest Social Media trends, ensuring our approach remains relevant and innovative.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Lead and other departments to align Social Media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience managing Social Media for a company/business.
- Experience in the seasonal and home decor retail(B2C) and/or expo industry(B2B) is a plus.
- Ability to adapt brand/style for social posts across multiple brands while ensuring brand consistency.
- Ability to show a portfolio/example of previous work.
- Ability to deliver creative & engaging content.
- Enjoy being in front of the camera & stay professional with our brands.
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
- Proven work experience in Social Media marketing or as a digital Media Specialist, with a focus on local marketing and influencer partnerships.
- Proficiency in using Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Proficiency in using Social Media software and tools such as Canva, Adobe, Capcut, etc.
- Strong understanding of Social Media KPIs.
- Have a reliable car/commute to our store & Expo centers.
