Job Overview:
Treasury is looking for an enthusiastic, creative mind to join our Communications team to help us increase and enhance current MARKETING AND outreach efforts for Treasury programs. The Communications Specialist will primarily focus on Digital Marketing and Social Media and will help develop, execute, and measure effective DIGITAL MARKETING aligned with communication strategies, and produce appealing content for web and digital media that help Treasury engage with its desired audiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Communications Team to develop, implement and enhance communication strategies for various Treasury programs.
- Develop innovative ways to incorporate digital media, video, and other visual elements into communications efforts, including designing graphics, illustrations, and short videos that can be distributed electronically.
- Assist the Communications Director in all areas as needed, including brainstorming new ideas, proofreading, scheduling the release of communications to ensure maximum effectiveness, and more.
- Increase audience and engagement for Treasury Programs across 11 SOCIAL MEDIA pages, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create and schedule digital outreach campaigns
- Report on ad campaign performance and make recommendations on how to better use paid ads to reach team goals. Assisting with monitoring and reporting, keeping an eye on important metrics and trends to understand campaign success on a day-to-day basis
Qualifications:
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with ability to utilize data to help programs make informed decisions
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the creation and execution of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms
- Deep understanding of Google Analytics, SOCIAL MEDIA ad platforms, and Google Ads
- Skilled at prioritizing, completing multiple projects with exceptional organizational and planning abilities
- Experience in copywriting and editing; working knowledge of MS Office
- Adobe Creative Suite experience desired; experience with graphic, design, photo, and video-editing software is an asset.
- Previous DIGITAL MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA experience with an agency, within a creative department, or freelance, or contract experience desired.
- Graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree
- Experience in web design, web content management systems, and web content production is a plus
