As a Secretary you will assume the duty of clerical and administrative support to the office. The ideal candidate should have a friendly, professional and positive attitude, along with strong organizational and data entry skills. You will be the point of reference for all queries, requests or issues. This is a relaxed office environment. The candidate must be able to work 4 days a week (some flexibility) from 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and be flexible enough to fill in as needed.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and redirect them when necessary
- Prepare correspondence, memos and forms
- File and update customer information
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Check frequently the levels of office supplies and place appropriate orders
- Data entry and a variety of office duties
- Be flexible to fill in as needed
Skills
- Proven work experience as a secretary or administrative assistant
- Familiarity with office organization
- High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Integrity and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and some knowledge of Excel
- High school diploma
