Part Time Receptionist

Banister Automotive is a growing family-owned dealership looking a Part time receptionist.. This candidate will be able to record payment amounts and close repair orders in the computer system accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate would have a friendly and helpful demeanor. The hours are Monday - Saturday nights, this is a Part time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets customers in a friendly and positive manner.
• Answers incoming telephone calls and route calls quickly and efficiently to the appropriate person/department.
• Receives and processes payments for products and services.
• Processes payments using the electronic POS system and credit/debit payment.
• Operates system software to accurately maintain customer data.
• Manages cash/money drawer.
• Some filing
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required,
• One year of experience handling money in a retail environment,
• Point-of-sale (cash register) and credit/debit card processing skills,
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written,
• Excellent customer service skills,
• Strong computer skills,
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance,
• An impressive work ethic.
