POSITION SUMMARY:
The Receptionist is responsible for front office receptionist duties including but not limited to: Answering a multi-line phone system, forwarding calls to appropriate parties, relaying messages, greeting guests, creating identification badges, sorting mail, receiving packages, assisting with conference room bookings and providing a positive impression of the Company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Answer incoming calls, screen and direct calls accordingly
- Greet visitors and provide information and assistance
- Assist visitors in registering and printing badges
- Order supplies including all general and special-order office supplies, FedEx supplies, and mailing supplies
- Order business cards based on request
- Receive and log in-coming packages and deliveries, notifying recipients
- Collect and sort all incoming mail and post all outgoing mail and deliver to outgoing mail receptacle
- Process FedEx shipments as needed
- Coordinate catering deliveries as required, notifying recipients
- Keep lobby area and mailroom stocked and organized
- Create maintenance request tickets for building management company
- Provide full-time reception desk coverage for unplanned absences and vacations
- Other miscellaneous administrative tasks as required
- Update Intranet with information related to the home office
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 2+ years in an administrative role; preferably in a fast-paced environment.

COMPETENCIES/CONDUCT:
In addition to the minimum qualifications, the employee will demonstrate:
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiar with use of SharePoint
- Ability to problem solve with minimal guidance
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Flexibility in working hours to cover for receptionist partner over sick and vacations
- Must be organized
- Need to be presentable and professional in demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Great customer service skills
