Accounting firm in Reston, Virginia with nearly 50 employees has an opening for an in-office Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our six-person administrative team.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of administrative services
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Greet and assist visitors
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages to include opening, sorting, and distributing mail, and scheduling courier services
- Prepare and process daily bank deposits
- Maintain, restock, and order office supplies
- Keep office organized including maintaining kitchen, reception area and common areas
- Order office lunches
- Register staff for continuing professional education classes
- Perform other duties as assigned or apparent
Qualifications
- Administrative office experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe PDF
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a supportive member of a team
Schedule
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week
- Part-Time: 32 hours per week
