Part-Time Optometry Office Assistant: Ideal For College Students.

Fun, fast-paced, family orientated optometry clinic looking for an optometry office assistant. Located in the SODO district, just south of downtown Seattle. Close to bus routes and light rail.

Ideal position for a student with flexible schedule. This role is to fill in for gaps in our staffing needs and fill-in coverage for vacation/etc.

The hours are fixed quarterly to match student schedules, but may change quarter-to-quarter as we adjust with other student co-workers. Also, flexible for parents.

Duties:

• work-up patients for the doctor. Easily trainable.
• general office tasks: phone/email/faxes, cleaning/trash/stocking supplies
• scheduling patients
• other optometry clinic related tasks (trainable)

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY (but optometry experience is valuable). We're willing to train the right candidate!

Required skill set:

• an individual who can communicate and work well with customers and our team.
• reliability
• fast learner and able to multi-task
• able to handle fast paced moments, and to be a self starter during slow moments.
• attention to detail and computer proficiency (able to type accurately and quickly)
