We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable and payable, and assisting with payroll. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts, is proficient in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks online, and has experience with double entry bookkeeping and journal entries.
```Duties```
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Assist with payroll processing
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed
```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software QuickBooks Online.
- Experience with double entry bookkeeping and journal entries
- Familiarity with payroll processing
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Please note that previous experience as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk is preferred. Familiarity with 10-key typing and tax preparation is also a plus.
