Bookkeeper with prior experience in all aspects of financial operations needed for manufacturing company in Duvall, WA. In-depth Quick Book knowledge for handling Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is an absolute must. Additionally, experience with HR procedures will be a big plus. You will report directly to the Accounting Manager and the Company Owners.
Part-time position (9am - 3pm) with potential move to full - time position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A/R
- Prepare and send invoices, verify transaction information
- Create deposits for all checks to the appropriate bank accounts and process all other cash receipts (Credit Card, ACH)
- Follow up with the customers to collect payments
- Reconcile the bank statements
- Follow procedures to adhere to internal controls and policies
- Prepare monthly Department of Revenue reports
A/P
- Work closely with purchasing agents to reconcile purchase orders to packing slips
- Post reviewed and approved expenses into QuickBooks and create the payment checks
- Reconcile A/P accounts including corporate credit cards
- Produce annual 1099s as required
Payroll
- Run weekly payroll in-house for 25-30 employees. Gather, prepare and input payroll and employee benefit data. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
- Activities include daily, monthly, and yearly procedures such as processing new hire additions, employee changes (income and deductions), terminations, resolving employee payroll issues and questions, and annual reporting.
- Maintain wage garnishments and payments to meet state and federal requirements, in addition to maintaining W-2 files and preparing annual reporting.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for L & I, Employment Securities, FUTA, etc.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
Qualifications:
2+ years working with every aspect of Quickbooks
The right person for this position will also feel confident they have the ability to
ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of information/data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills, easy going attitude and the ability to work well with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy

- Ability to manage multiple priorities despite interruptions
About the Company:
