Job Summary
Icicle Village Resort manages a forty-five-unit condo association (COA). As manager of the COA, we assist the condo association with day-to-day bookkeeping functions, and monthly reporting to the board. This role would also assist the hotel property Controller with day-to-day accounting needs such as preparation of the daily flash report, submitting bills received by mail to AP, daily cash counts among other needs. As COA bookkeeper, you would report directly to the property Controller and General Manager.
What you'll do:
The Brass Tacks
  • Full time position (30-40 hours/week) with the possibility of a flexible schedule
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the association
  • Record accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Process invoices, ensure timely payment, and maintain organization of records
  • Facilitate timely collection of dues and utility allocations
  • Reconcile monthly bank statement to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget
  • Generate monthly financial reports for COA board
  • Respond to inquiries from homeowners regarding financial matters
  • Process monthly owner revenue statement
  • Prepare weekly bank deposits for COA and Hotel
  • Prepare daily Hotel flash report
  • Reconcile Hotel cash and credit card deposits to daily postings.
  • Assist with bi-monthly payroll upload for hotel
  • Supports accounting and company mission by completing ad hoc assignments as needed.

The Nitty Gritty
  • Comfortable utilizing multiple software systems
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping/accounting preferred or similar relevant experience.
  • Background in QuickBooks, Opera Cloud, Owner Relations a plus
  • Familiarity with COA operations and regulations a plus
  • Accounting experience in the Hospitality Industry is desired but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to calculate and apply concepts of basic algebra and mathematics.
