Position Information
The Language Lab at NDSU seeks a full-time Lab Coordinator to support research on lexical acquisition in early childhood. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, recruiting and running study participants, supervising undergraduate research assistants, analyzing data, maintaining research records, creating stimuli, and setting up studies. This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about language research and looking to gain more experience working with children in a research setting. This is a one-year fixed term position with the possibility of renewal.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, cognitive science, linguistics or a related field
  • Experience working with human research participants
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with Python and/or R
  • Coursework or research experience in psycholinguistics
  • 2+ years of experience with human research participants
  • Experience working with children and/or families in a research setting
