Position Summary:
We are seeking a self-motivated, fast-paced, organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling transactions, balancing ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports related to our associations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll processing.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets for client associations.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate with property managers and board members to address financial inquiries and provide support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with HOA regulations, tax requirements, and other financial obligations.
- Assist with annual audits and tax filings.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
For this role, your background should include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in property management or HOA environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HOA regulations and procedures is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
