A stable local water entity is seeking a part-time Administrative Professional to directly support its Controller, with additional support for the rest of the executive team. Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills are a must. Candidate should possess organizational and time management skills in order to effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Administrative duties include working independently and as a part of a team providing a broad range of accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, file management, supply maintenance, and special projects. Additional duties include providing customer service over the phone and in person, taking customer water orders, along with drafting and editing correspondence, minutes, and spreadsheets. Candidate will provide executive support and seek efficiencies for the General Manager by scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, handling confidential information, and working on special projects.
Demonstration of the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships and work collaboratively with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside of the organization, is essential. Two or more years of experience in QuickBooks along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, marketing, or related field of study is preferred. Bilingual and experience in the areas of water, irrigation, or agriculture is a plus. A successful candidate’s compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications.
