Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant to join our team at Destination Baby Co. This position will primarily involve administrative tasks, customer communication, and warehouse support.
Responsibilities:
- Update Orders: Input new orders accurately into our systems.
- Customer Communication: Engage with customers via email and text to provide support, answer inquiries, and confirm reservations.
- Reservation Confirmation: Ensure reservations are confirmed with customers and address any concerns or special requests.
- Inventory Tracking: Assist with inventory tracking in the warehouse, including receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse. This includes tasks such as folding sheets, cleaning the toy station, and organizing small items.
- Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks and projects as needed to support the efficient operation of Destination Baby Co.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with Google Suite.
