Accounts Receivable Clerk

Duties:
- Process Accounts Receivable transactions, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling discrepancies
- Prepare and send customer statements and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Accounts Receivable records
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as SOX requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes and financial concepts
- Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
- Familiarity with public accounting practices and principles
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and MS Office applications (especially Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
