Position Overview
The "Accounts Receivable Clerk" is responsible for servicing internal and external customers by compiling and maintaining accurate Accounts Receivable records and to ensure payments are posted in a timely manner for services or goods that were provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process Daily Billings
Customer Account Adjustments
Data entry of payments received from customers.
Reconciliation of daily postings to the bank statement.
Initiate calls to customers pertaining to payment issues.
Create and maintain documentation of a key processes and activities within individual scope of responsibility.
Identify recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to drive simplicity, automate, remove non-value-added work, and standardize processes.
Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations, including those set forth by the IRS, PA State Government, US Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), or any other regulatory agency.
Comply with all CRH procedures, policies, and documentation requirements.
Cross train in other areas of AR for back up as needed.
Maintain several spreadsheets in Excel.
Special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High school Diploma or GED equivalent
One to three months related experience and/or training

Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
