Larry T. Griggs, Attorney at Law, P.A. is a small legal firm in Saint Augustine, FL. Our goal is to assist members of our community with estate planning and help the elderly and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorney with administrative tasks
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents
- Gather relevant information for cases
- Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, under the guidance of an attorney
- Assist with drafting correspondence and other written materials
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments and hearings, and coordinate meetings
- Answer phone calls and take messages with professionalism and accuracy
- Perform data entry tasks to update case information and client records
- Efiling court documents
- Other responsibilities as directed by the attorney
Experience:
- Previous experience in a law firm or legal environment is preferred
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using computer software and document preparation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with legal drafting is a plus
