Paralegal - Probate & Business Transactional - Columbia

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Paralegal - Probate & Business Transactional for our Columbia, SCoffice.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Trusts and estate planning
• Probate work
• Business Transactions
• Mergers and Acquisitions
• Document management and analysis
• Client interaction

Candidates should have the following skills and/or attributes:

• Bachelor degree or Paralegal Certification is required
• Three to five years legal experience in a probate, estate planning or Business Transactional practice
• Extensive experience in electronic document discovery, document management and database management
• Knowledge of court and administrative hearing rules and procedures

Candidates should also have the following knowledge, skills, and attributes:

• Ability to prioritize and manage a large work volume in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and employees at all levels of the firm
• Team member who participates in shared office duties and requirements
• Stable employment history
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook and other legal software applications
