Job Description
South Carolina Law Firm, with offices in Charleston and Greenville, is looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to help our Personal Injury practice continue to grow. Majority of the duties for this position will involve working auto accident cases.
Responsibilities include:
- Draft deposition notices, discovery requests and responses, lawsuits.
- Preparing pleadings, legal correspondence and other legal documents for attorneys.
- Communicate with clients to draft discovery responses and standard objections, collect and confirm medical treatment.
- Schedule depositions, trial preparation, court reporters, internal meetings, meetings w/ treating physicians/fact witnesses & counsel if applicable.
- E-file experience, comfort level with filing requirements among a variety of platforms.
- Manage litigation calendars for attorneys
- Expert knowledge of civil litigation timelines, deadlines, filing procedures required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, have excellent writing and communication skills, organizational skills, strong work ethic, and ability to multi-task are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
