We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive professional Legal Assistant to join our Labor & Employment Group in our Naples office. The right candidate should demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative, a desire to forge powerful relationships, hone their skills and deliver excellent work.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in connection with all aspects of case management and document production, heavy document editing, proofreading and finalizing legal documents.
- Work with Federal and State administrative agencies, in addition to e-filing in state, federal and appellate courts.
- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings and conferences, and enter billable time.
- Update electronic records, upload documents, and run reports.
- Maintain and organize case files, organize paper and electronic documents for use in depositions or trials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of legal experience.
- Labor and employment and/or litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional technical skills required including knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe Professional, PPT, and electronic document management.
- Ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication and client service skills.
- Must be detail oriented. Excellent grammar and spelling skills are essential.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per hour
