Optometry Front Office Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our medical facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient service and medical administrative support.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information and update medical records
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical scheduling systems, such as Dentrix, is a plus
- Familiarity with medical records and dental receptionist duties is beneficial
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.58 - $23.58 per hour
