We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, handling medical records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Dental Office.
```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the Dental Office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Familiarity with Dental Office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of medical scheduling practices and ability to manage appointments effectively
