Responsible for maintaining the standards of operations talent by developing, administering, and tracking a comprehensive training program for new and existing employees, including support for the IMA, blending, and warehousing departments. Duties include working closely with new hires, existing employees, supervisors, and operations trainers to determine areas for improvement and establishing methods to track employee training statuses. Provide support, feedback and mentoring to employees while conducting an evaluation and identifying areas of improvements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate with the safety training coordinator and the quality trainer to assure a comprehensive training program of operations team to achieve core metrics including safety, quality, and performance
- Develop programs and curriculum for the employees of the organization for orientation and in-job training and oversee the execution of the Operations Training program
- Conduct weekly check ins of in-process training with the supervisors, trainers, and trainees to monitor progress.
- Analyze the effectiveness of training through the use of quizzes and practical exercises and update training content as needed
- Collaborate with the company's leadership to identify training needs, schedule appropriate training sessions for employees, and document training as part of the operations skills-based pay model
- Establish and administer a system to monitor and ensure employees are performing their responsibilities according to the training
- Conduct random quarterly audits to ensure employees are performing tasks safely and according to procedure
- Manage the compliance and adherence to standards and procedures during training sessions
- Create, review, and/or update SOPs, work instructions, and job aids. Create and execute training on changes as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
- Attention to detail, good communication skills, team player, and ability to follow directions.
- Intermediate computer skills- including data entry, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and use of IPAD (Redzone experience preferred)
- Basic understanding of problem solving, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Create a method to evaluate and communicate trainee progress
- Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish
- Develop metrics reports using Excel
- Able to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to train employees effectively and track training within our Quality Management System or other application
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, division, percent, etc.,) accurately and quickly as necessary.

Compensation range is $27.00 - $35.70 per hour .
Compensation is determined based on non-discriminatory, business-related factors, including but not limited to, training, experience, education and/or professional certifications, geographic location, and market data.
