We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team! The Operations Specialist will assist with many aspects of sourcing distributing and maintaining products within a Quality Management System (QMS) including product receipt and shipment, as well as document control to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards. We value the willingness to learn, think critically, and exhibit initiative.
Essential functions:
- Inspect products provided by contract manufacturers to ensure strict conformance to established quality standards and individual product specifications.
- Clearly identify and quarantine nonconforming product from contract manufacturers.
- Facilitate the return of nonconforming products to the contract manufacturer for repair, credit or replacement.
- Support in-house servicing and repair of medical devices.
- Assist with inventory management to ensure that product and accessories are available to ship.
- Process customer shipments and returns consistent with QMS requirements.
- Document quality concerns for contract manufacturer awareness and corrective action as appropriate.
- Assist with the creation and reporting of metrics related to the QMS processes and document management system.
- Identify and implement document control process improvements to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate and support maintaining the QMS system, including SOPs to provide guidance to users on document authoring and to ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency through SOP optimization.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately collect and record data.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate any issues or concerns.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
