We are currently looking for a Loan Servicing Specialist - Operations to join our Loan Servicingteam.
Job Summary
NASB Loan Servicing manages and completes all tasks after a loan is originated until the loan is paid in full. This includes, but is not limited to; processing loan payments, responding to borrower inquiries, and managing escrow accounts. The Loan Servicing department is responsible for ensuring all NASB mortgage loan customers receive the highest quality of communication, information, and customer service in as timely and professional a manner as possible.
What you can expect to work on
The Loan Servicing Specialist (Operations team) develops and maintains compliance with investor/agency requirements as well as Federal, State and Local jurisdictions. Ensures compliance with Security Instruments, investor and Regulatory guidelines relating to ARM Adjustments, credit bureau reporting, and verification of new loan information boarded into system. Ensure customer compliance by maintaining appropriate flood insurance. Responsible for maintaining flood records and ensuring compliance with map changes and amendments. Maintains a strong working knowledge of FHLMC, FNMA, HUD, and VA lending programs to ensure continued NASB participation by ensuring compliance with the investor servicing guidelines. Miscellaneous other duties as assigned.
What you offer us
- High school diploma or equivalent required, 2+ years of college preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in Loan Servicing or similar financial/banking experience preferred.
- Effective business communication skills (both oral and written)
- Good time management and organizational skills – Must be detail-oriented and thorough.
- Good interpersonal communication skills: Ability to effectively interact with individuals in all areas of the bank
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Computer literate; experience using all Microsoft Office applications.
- General knowledge of Loan Servicing Procedures
Work Environment
This position will be a hybrid-based schedule with a combination of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote work.
