Job Description
Our company is currently seeking an ambitious and dynamic individual to join our team! You have an accounting or finance background and can fit those tasks into 20 hours a week or less for our current small company. That leaves plenty of time to help the CEO manage the current business and find and acquire new companies. Your goal should be to transition to General Manager of one of our companies in 12 to 18 months.
Responsibilities:
- Invoicing, Preparing Shipping Documents, Tracking Work in Progress
- Cash Management (AP/AR)
- Manage Payroll
- Help with Purchasing & Estimating
- Support CEO with strategy and execution as we transition to a multi-company, multi-location entity
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related field
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Familiar with Sage/Quickbooks/Paylocity or equivalent
- Burning desire to run a small business
