This role is categorized as hybrid . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to [Cole Engineering Center Tower, Warren MI ] three times per week, at minimum
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include constraint management, managing Business Transfers, supporting financially troubled suppliers, developing Protection of Supply banks, organizing the workload for the team, developing and training employees.
Responsible for developing operational plans or new processes, in support of the organization’s business strategies with a direct impact on the organization's overall business results
Responsible for leading supply chain operations in collaboration with external suppliers including their performance, supply chain system and processes, launch execution, scheduling and material management required to support our manufacturing plants.
Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. Guides of one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.
Communicate to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers Position is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers
Focuses on ensuring suppliers can meet contracted capacity
Involved in working on-site with constrained suppliers and quickly developing plans to support production requirements

Additional Description
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Required
6-8 years of experience within Manufacturing, Supply Chain Functions Required
Very good understanding of overall Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain functions Required
Timely decision making with limited information (ambiguity)
Must have strong communication skills
Ability to manage cross functionally from supplier executives to production operators
Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production
Assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production.
Collaborate cross functionally internally and externally to develop creative solutions.
Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership
Handle very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
Analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
Ability to be flexible and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
Ability to travel greater than 50% to plant and Supplier locations when required for onsite support
Must have Valid Passport
Ability to problem solve issues and implement new and innovative strategies.
