THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:

Intentional recruitment efforts resulting in campus
applications
  • Creating and leading recruitment and enrollment efforts for your campus, acting as the liaison between campus personnel and Home Office on all lottery-related issues;
  • Create a campus specific recruitment plan and coordinate all recruitment efforts
  • Execute student recruitment strategies that target families with school-aged children within a 5-mile radius of the assigned campus
  • Build relationships with community partners in order to build brand awareness
  • Build community connections by attending community events, fairs, tabling events and getting to know the community on regular basis
  • Collaborate with other campus staff on recruitment and engagement events to greet and nurture relationships with new families.
  • Maintain and cultivate a solid waitlist after lottery by providing communication and sustained recruitment efforts

Campus maintains or is above
enrollment

  • Offer seats in a timely manner and make all efforts to ensure campus is at enrollment year around
  • Monitor quality of applications submitted and resolves issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure all new families are effectively on-boarded from the time they apply with ongoing communications and invitation to tours and/or open houses.
  • Monitor progress towards goals and make meaningful and timely adjustments in order to meet enrollment benchmarks
  • Ensuring compliance with all state, federal and organizational policies and procedures with regards to student data;
  • Lead the planning execution of specific new student interactions to help students get acclimated to the campus culture and expectations in a way that is inviting and engaging
  • Lead the planning and execution of specific new parent events to welcome the new parents to the campus and helps them integrate and get acclimated to the campus culture and expectations
  • Share information about YES Prep programs, including Academic, SEL & Special Populations programs. Seek answers to family questions from campus & Home Office staff.
  • Lead the work of ensuring 100% of new students and families receive high quality on-boarding

Campus maintains or is above
ADA
  • Calling absent students’ guardians in an effort to get students to school quickly and determine 1) why the student is absent, 2) if there is anyone to bring the student to school and 3) inform the guardian of the consequences of the student not attending school regularly;
  • Execute a daily tardy system with students and input tardy information into database
  • Playing an active role in the Attendance Committee meetings and collaborating on foundational attendance incentives

Execute positive internal and external
communication
  • Providing and/or supervising the creation of required reports for all school operations including, but not limited to, funds accounting, coverage, duty systems, meals, and transportation;
  • Serve as point of contact for daily facility and custodial needs on campus;
  • Assisting the Director of Campus Operations with the supervision of the school’s auxiliary services – transportation, food service, and vendor relationships;
  • Conduct bus counts, share bus routes and communicate with parents any transportation changes;

Campus Safety is prioritized 100% of the
time
  • Helping to create duty schedules for arrival, dismissal, breakfast and lunch to maximize student safety
  • Assisting in maintaining office security: I.D. badges provided to all employees and students;
  • Taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities;
  • Assisting the Director of Campus Operations with monthly safety drills and support personnel in an emergency;
  • Create and distribute transportation tags for all students;
  • Conduct reoccurring bus counts with fidelity;
  • Assisting with coverage of front desk as needed, including warmly greeting and assisting all visitors, answering and processing all incoming calls in an efficient and rapid manner;
  • Training will be provided to serve as the medical designee back up for minor student issues and concerns as they arise on campus;
  • Ensure all locations on campus are free of clutter and well organized ready to receive visitors;

Specific measurable system implementation
  • Ensure all locations on campus are free of clutter and well organized, ready to receive visitors
  • Assisting with coverage of front desk as needed, including warmly greeting and assisting all visitors, answering and processing all incoming calls in an efficient and rapid manner;
  • Coordinate logistics for student field trips including updating the campus calendar, scheduling transportation and meals;
  • Thinking strategically about operational systems and providing recommendations for increased efficiency, staff satisfaction and preserving data integrity;
  • Overseeing daily administrative operations and resolving problems related to day-to-day operations of the Front Office;
  • Assisting the Director of Campus Operations with the setup of the courses, staffing and locations of the master schedule in both excel and Skyward;
  • Be familiar with how to read and audit student schedules;
  • Checking and reviewing a variety of data for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to established standards and procedures;
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • CompensationThis position is a non-exempt, hourly position; offers commensurate with experience.
