We are looking to hire an Onboarding Specialist for our Fullerton Office. This is a direct hire opportunity to join our FLAG Support Group!
*Note: This position is On-Site*
The FSG is responsible for ensuring Contractors have met both client and FLAG onboarding requirements as well as support the FLAG TRW Program. Cross reference the Job Site Roster to accurately collect all
timecards for Contractors on Assignment.
- Conduct New Hire Welcome Calls for new candidates explaining what steps need to be taken to be fully onboarded for new employment.
- Conduct and file pre hire processes such as drug screens, background checks, E-verify, and provide Pass/Fail notices to the recruiter/account manager prior to any placement.
- Follow up and expedite client results by working with clinics/physicians and background representatives.
- Support the payroll team with entering garnishments, and processing EDD claims, and Employment Verifications.
- Conduct weekly Onboarding audits to verify pre-employment/application processes/onboarding requirements are complete, proper screening notes are documented, contractor screenings are added, and properly allocated to a requisition.
- Manage the documentation of new WC claims from the Initial injury report, internal documenting platforms, and
- Follow up as the FLAG communications liaison for OSHA, contractors with a WC claim as well as the clinics and legal team.
- Interface with clients in a positive professional fashion to follow up Risk Mitigation Items or the RTW Program.
- Participate in Facility Walkthroughs for OSHA Compliance and IIPP implementation.
- Track and manage COVID 19 related instances such as call offs, contact tracing, testing results, return to work dates.
- Document any contractor activity like call offs, appointments, follow ups, and updates in the ATS.
- Order and maintain PPE supply inventory.
Qualifications:
- Manage a high volume of duties and projects and prioritize accordingly
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with accuracy and efficiency
- Efficient organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team
- Resiliency and adaptability when navigating a fast-paced and dynamic Founder culture
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an overall technical aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
- Payroll experience is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Years of Experience:
1-3 years of job-related experience
Additional Skills:
- HRIS/ATS (required), Ceipal Now (preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing environments (preferred)
- Language: Bilingual in English/Spanish (required)

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
