Job Description: As an On-Call Dentist at Children's Dental FunZone, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to adolescents. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting dental exams, diagnosing oral health issues, and providing necessary treatments to promote optimal dental health. We are looking for a dentist who is comfortable working with children of all ages and has a gentle and reassuring chair-side manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations on pediatric patients
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various dental conditions
- Provide preventive and restorative dental treatments, including cleanings, fillings, and extractions
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with our team of dental professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school
- Active state dental license and malpractice insurance
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with children and parents
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to dental care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for on-call shifts as needed
