Job Description:
Role: Design Engineer
Location: Newport News, Virginia
Term: Full Time
Activity: Industry, heavy machinery, automation. Technical assistance, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting
What you develop:
· Perform design and optimization efforts of current fixtures deployed at client facility
· Assist client with engineering requests related to current and future fixtures
· Provide regular feedback of fixture to headquarters
· In conjunction with the onsite team, perform initial engineering study of client requests for development of scope and budget requests
What you bring:
· 0-2 years of experience
· Degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical expertise
· Ability to interpret/create technical drawings
· 3D modelling software knowledge, CATIA preferably
· Fast-thinking and know how to adapt quickly to any situation
· Attention to detail and quality
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record
