We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, diagnose and treat dental conditions, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. ```Responsibilities```
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and x-rays
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics to patients as needed
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Keep accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar software
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique in all procedures
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities
```Requirements```
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience as a Dentist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, procedures, and treatments
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar practice management software
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for restorative dentistry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients
- Knowledge of medical coding, medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and medical documentation standards
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
