KOW Building Consultants (www.kowbc.com) has been a trusted provider of construction consulting services since 1978. Our clients include banks, private lenders, government agencies, and owners and developers.
We’re looking for an organized, detail orientated, hard-working, tech-savvy Office Operations professional to join our team and assist with report production, client inquiries, creating proposals, managing workflow, and setting up inspections. The position will be in the Smithtown office 1-2 days a week and also work remotely.
The motivated candidate will have:
• Exceptional Excel skills (minimum of 8 out of 10). Excel beginners won’t be considered.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and produce a high volume of quality work.
- Excellent communication skills – verbally, writing, questioning, follow-up, etc.
- Pride in their work and the desire to succeed.
- A positive attitude with a team-first approach.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ideal work hours at 10am-6pm (eastern).
- Type and prepare reports.
- Answer emails/phone calls and follow-up with inspectors to ensure clients’ needs are met.
- Create proposals.
- Contribute new ideas for improvement.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
