About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant in COO, as part of Shared Services - Complaints, Redress and Remediations (CRR). Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.


In this role, you will:

  • The individual is expected to analyze data, identify emerging issues, hone in on areas of opportunities, and ensure the organization has meaningful and relevant metrics that allows stakeholders to reach decisions and next steps.
  • Partner with the SSO Enterprise Functions to identify topics and themes for analysis.
  • Need to interpret complaints data, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of customer complaints, present insights, and make recommendations.
  • Responsible for CRR’s Reporting & Analytics in PowerPoint decks, business analysis and presentations - including visualization.
  • Proactively contribute to the content and presentation of the monthly decks and executive reporting.
  • Interpret complaints and other data relating to customer’s experience.
  • Partner with Customer of Excellence Data and Analytics (CEDA) on developing and/or enhancing existing dashboards and metrics for COO Shared Services Operations.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for ad-hoc reporting requests, consolidating and reporting upon complaints Root Cause Analysis Standards (RCA)
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Enterprise Complaints Redress (ECR) office on policy, standards, procedures, ECR tools, and taxonomy
  • Prepare accurate ad hoc complaints reporting and analysis when required by key partners or management


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues concisely to an executive audience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - ability to communicate effectively to audiences with varying levels of management
  • Experience developing cross-functional partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills with proven ability to process data into meaningful information
  • Additional keys to success in this role are excellent attention-to-detail and storytelling.
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
  • Knowledge of the Complaints space, with focus on meeting Enterprise Complaints Standards via actual work output to meet operations needs.
  • Self-starter, ability to drive independently
  • Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Eagerness to contribute collaboratively on projects and discussions
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, and other tools to support data mining and analytics insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, preferred
