BELFOR is looking for qualified candidates for the following position. BELFOR team members are a unique breed, committed to restoring not only property, but restoring lives for those affected by disasters, large or small.

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Reports directly to the General Manager on a daily basis

· Manage day to day activities which include but are not limited to:

o Admin

o Estimators

o Project Managers

o Accounting staff

o Warehouse staff

· 5+ years of management experience

· Knowledge of residential and commercial mitigation & construction

· Knowledge of mitigation & construction contracts

· Knowledge of subcontractor contracts and qualifications

· Knowledge of insurance

· Knowledge of budgets

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to professionally communicate and provide solutions to the team

· Experience managing matrixed project teams

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent customer service skills required

· Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

· Microsoft office knowledge required

· Ability to multi task and meet deadlines

· Thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles, which allows the Operations Manager to assess the company’s earning and spending to find areas for improvement

· Strong analytical ability required to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, management and customers, strong and demonstrated effective verbal, written and listening skills and professional telephone skills and manners.

Responsibilities:

· Manage a team of 20-30+ employees

· Formulate performance improvement plans and make termination decisions with General Manager as necessary

· Interview, select (with GM approval) and train new employees

· Mentor, evaluate employee work and productivity and develop employees

· Meet with team members one on one to provide continual coaching and evaluation of process and procedures

· Monitor day to day work of staff for process adherence and compliance

· Define elements of work, develop scope, solicit and manage bid process for jobs in production

· Provide direction and coordination of all activities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Knowledge of computers and Microsoft office / Xactimate 28

· Excellent communications and leadership skills

· Excellent planning and organizational skills

· Problem solving skills

· Ability to accurately review and complete detail oriented information and projects

· Ability to conceptualize and organize project planning process

· Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision

· Ability to work with wide range of people

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
