Mission Darkness is a growing e-commerce business that designs bags and enclosures for law enforcement, military, and the general public (check out our team and our values here https://mosequipment.com/pages/meet-the-team). We are primarily an e-commerce brand that sells on Amazon, our own Shopify store, and through a network of distributors.
We’re looking for an experienced and organized Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the company by coordinating various administrative tasks and providing support to the staff. This role involves managing calendars, scheduling meetings, planning events, handling office expenses, and maintaining a well-organized and functional workspace. The Office Manager will collaborate closely with key personnel, to facilitate effective communication and operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interact with all staff to support scheduling meetings, facilitating communication, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's operations.
- Calendar management for the company and for the CEO personally.
- Plan and coordinate company lunches, parties, retreats, and holiday events.
- Track work anniversaries, birthdays, evaluations, and significant work events, ensuring associated tasks are completed.
- Handle office expenses and bills, recording transactions in QuickBooks.
- Communicate with vendors and manage payments for services, including the cleaner's expenses.
- Support the CEO and others in the company with travel arrangements, meetings, personal tasks, and errands.
- Maintain the office's cleanliness, organization, and supplies, restocking as needed.
- Assist with warehouse-related tasks, ensuring the warehouse is well-equipped and functional.
- Visit the warehouse or other company or offsite locations periodically to coordinate staff, materials, product, etc.
- Provide additional HR support.
- Manage office insurance policies, administer 401(k), assist with payroll and other functions as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with accountants and lawyers as required.
- Communicate with customers
- Setup office furniture or other physical necessities of the office environment, both onsite and off site
- Handle sales staff commissions, ensuring they are accurately recorded
- Various other tasks and responsibilities as required by the company
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, and Slack.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
