Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring its smooth functioning. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees
- Maintain financial records using QuickBooks software, including accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities
- Handle human resources functions such as employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Coordinate office events and meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and catering arrangements
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
- Streamline office processes and implement efficient systems to improve productivity
- Handle general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and organizing files
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong budgeting skills with the ability to analyze financial data
- Knowledge of human resources practices and employment laws
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in team management and supervision
- Previous experience in medical office management is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Event planning experience is preferred
