Responsibilities
• Process incoming payments to appropriate accounts and keep precise financial records
• Review reports indicating past due accounts and follow up on when to expect payment

• Make sure any billing inquiries are resolved by working with the client
• Assists with implementing, enforcing, improving, and maintaining the Firm's personnel employment policies and providing feedback and assistance to the Firm's support staff
• Participates in drafting evaluations of support staff and makes substantive recommendations to the Administrator regarding work assignments, promotions, discipline, terminations, etc
• Assures that employees have the tools they need to perform their duties
• Assists with administering payroll (verifying work hours, leave time, overtime)
• With direction from the Administrator, implements and maintains the Firm's policies, systems & procedures
• Maintain front-facing relationships with customers, contractors, service providers, and vendors
• Optimize office policies and procedures to meet internal needs while upholding our business standards
• Keep office systems running smoothly including ordering office supplies, organizing filing systems, maintaining office equipment, optimizing the organizational budget, and scheduling meetings
• Carry out other human resources tasks and office administration duties when necessary
• Lead office management including day-to-day operations, directing administrative assistants, and other secretarial duties
Qualifications
• The Office Manager will have the equivalent of an Associate's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• The Office Manager will have supervisory experience and experience working in an office, preferably a law firm
• Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
