We are seeking a Facilities Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all physical aspects of our organization's facilities. You will play a critical role by overseeing the maintenance, safety, space utilization, budgeting, and vendor management of our organization.

Essential Functions:

• Facilities Maintenance:
  1. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  2. Coordinate repairs and renovations with internal staff and external contractors/vendors.
  3. Be willing to make light repairs around the facility.
  4. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
  5. Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
  6. Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
  7. Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
• Safety and Security:
  1. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  2. Monitor security systems, including access control and surveillance cameras, to safeguard the premises.
  3. Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare for various scenarios.
• Space Planning and Utilization:
  1. Optimize space utilization to accommodate current and future needs.
  2. Coordinate office renovations and furniture installations.
  3. Maintain accurate records of space allocations and occupancy rates.
     

• Budgeting and Cost Control:

1. Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
2. Obtain competitive bids for services and negotiate contracts with vendors.
3. Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective measures to achieve budgetary goals.

• Environmental Sustainability:
  1. Implement eco-friendly initiatives to minimize the Falcon’s environmental footprint.
  2. Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and waste reduction.
  3. Stay informed about relevant regulations and industry best practices regarding sustainability.
• Vendor Management:
  1. Select, evaluate, and manage relationships with third-party service providers, such as janitorial services, landscaping, and security firms.
  2. Ensure vendors adhere to contract terms and deliver high-quality services.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or related field is preferred. A combination of education, training, and experience is also acceptable in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience in facilities management or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of success.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
