Job description

The Chimney Guys in Pataskala, OH is looking to hire a full-time Office Manager to answer phones and coordinate chimney service dispatch. Can you be friendly and outgoing over the phone? The Chimney Guys is a family-owned company that prides itself on completely cleaning our client's chimneys and fireplaces. On top of our cleaning services, we also do chimney repairs and masonry work on fireplaces and chimneys. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OFFICE MANAGER

In this position, you oversee and direct office staff and technicians to make sure daily operations are consistent and efficient. As a customer service superstar, you communicate with clients over the phone and respond to website inquiries and emails. When needed, you handle escalations and find resolutions. Running logistics for our service teams, you are comfortable scheduling appointments for our clients' home services and routing technicians. You also order materials to ensure our teams have everything they need for a successful workday.

Once jobs have been completed you process billing requests. Using your solid interpersonal and communication skills, you are confident handling any HR tasks that come your way. You also process payroll. To promote our company you upsell campaigns and market our home services through social media. Each day you have a feeling of success and fulfillment having efficiently completed all your duties!

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN OFFICE MANAGER

  • 5+ years of office experience in a home services provider company

Are you an effective communicator and an excellent listener? Can you balance multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines? Are you capable of building rapport with people over the phone? If yes, you might just be perfect for this customer service position!

 

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN OFFICE MANAGER

This full-time position typically works Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm.
