- Bachelor's Degree business or Real Estate
- 4+ years of experience in commercial/retail property management, Real Estate leases, accounting, contractual obligations and legal liabilities, and sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop others
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information

- 4+ years of experience in Real Estate with another retailer or a Real Estate development company including experience in property management- Lease shopping center retail space and in-store banks within a region through thorough marketing and diligent, proficient and aggressive negotiating
- Analyze leases & ownership documents and make recommendations to management to maximize the free cash flow and net operating income to Kroger
- Initiate shopping center leasing and surplus asset disposition transactions and manage them from inception to completion, including negotiating financial terms, legal documents, entitlements and transaction closings
- Work closely with platform brokerage companies and marketing specialists to ensure all spaces are marketed to the public in a professional manner and all information displayed to the public through LoopNet and our website is up to date and relevant
- Collaborate with division leadership, Facility Engineering, Store Planning and Regional Real Estate to bring visibility to our network of in-store banks in an effort to maintain and grow the income potential
- Partner with Alternative Profits team to find creative alternatives to vacant in-store space to provide alternative revenues with an experience that connects with customers; assist with in-store transactions
- Assist in the site selection and transaction completion for micro-fulfillment centers to support eCommerce/Digital strategy
- Coordinate legal documents for all transactions (3rd party retail, office, surplus) with G.O. Legal and prepare legal documents for deals
