As a Office Manager/bookkeeper you'll:
Work collaboratively as a part of a team to manage bookkeeping activities for our companies.
Clear bank feeds in Quickbooks Online
Enter bank deposits, checks, bills, vendor payments, journal entries, etc.
Enter daily sales from the point of sale systems.
Reconcile sales to shops from the point of sale system, monthly.
Reconcile credit card and bank accounts monthly.
Reconcile vendor statements, and manage vendor balances.
Regularly interact with team members to obtain necessary information and source documents.
Daily/WeeklyUpload all the daily deposits/transactions from Accounting Link
Good knowledge of Quickbooks online, Quickbooks payroll and Excel.
Submit payroll, perform payroll entries and payroll related items.
Enroll new and current staff into 401K, insurance, and other related programs
Handle registration and BMV activity for our loaner vehicle fleet
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced. We need someone who has handled all aspects of Quickbooks bookkeeping for small businesses.
Self-starter. Absolutely must be able to do whatever it takes to learn what we're doing and hit the ground running. You'll have plenty of resources at your fingertips, but the rest will be up to you. Bonus points for making us better with your accounting experience.
Experience and an understanding of accrual based accounting, Quickbooks & financials is a must. You will be working with store managers and an assistant bookkeeper. You will be reporting to a full time accountant service company and in-house leadership team.
Knowledgeable. You must have an excellent understanding of Quickbooks accounting & bookkeeping best practices (GAAP). The ideal candidate has accounting experience or a closely related field such as finance, business or economics, though this isn't strictly required. Being a QBO ProAdvisor is a plus.
Highly organized. This role will require you to juggle the needs and deadlines. We have all the software & training to support you in your role to make you as efficient as possible.
