We are seeking an Office Manager 3 to join our Deschutes / Jefferson / Crook Co. team!

What you need to qualify
Three years of experience as a supervisor of clerical, secretarial, or office support staff that includes hiring or recommending hiring, training, assigning, and reviewing work, preparing performance evaluations, and handling disciplinary actions.
One year of this experience MUST include management of multiple offices, programs, or procedures.

As an Office Manager 3, you will:
Provide management and supervision to the Administrative, technical support and business activities of the branch to include the following;
Participate in management, policy, and program planning decisions related to the operations of the branch as well as attending management team meetings.
Oversees the operations concerning facility issues, including ordering supplies, ergonomic assessments, building repairs, etc.
Interpret state and federal laws, administrative rules, agency policy and procedures and personnel policies for staff.
Ensure regular and on-going training for support staff assuring conformance to policy and procedures. Ensure resource manuals are current and up to date.
Manage personnel as assigned, establish position descriptions, complete work plans, monitor daily performance, interview applicants for positions assigned to the unit, respond to grievances, prepare performance evaluations, and effectively recommend personnel actions regarding those staff.

Working conditions
Your work will be conducted in the office. This position may present opportunities to occasionally work remotely. Details to be discussed with your manager.
There will be frequent travel between branches.
Your hours of work may fluctuate based on service needs.
You will have prolonged periods of sitting in front of the computer.
You may interact with a wide range of people including some who have experienced trauma and may exhibit challenges in controlling their emotions.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive in inclement weather as needed is required.
