- Maintains procedural statistics using Access and Excel programs.
- Maintains procedural complications using Access and Excel programs
- Reports the number of procedures and complications on monthly basis.
- Records implanted patient data
- Maintains database of opened purchase orders and associated dates of expiration
- Responsible for all vendor issued purchase orders
- Proficient in use of Epic to obtain appropriate data for charging
- Assist with billing – updating CPT codes, APC codes
- Responsible for all patient charges into Epic
- Collaborates with CDM Manager for changes in charge master file
- Maintains a history of implant data-recall of equipment
- Assists with purchasing history of bulk device orders with Director Heart and Vascular Center
- Maintains database for Wound Classification for surgical procedures
- Provides feedback to Director Heart and Vascular Center for opportunity for Performance Improvement
- Collaborates with Director Heart and Vascular Center on a weekly basis
- Answers telephone, answers questions, resolves problems, furnishes information or refers to an appropriate source
- Maintains knowledge of, accepts and implements departmental and hospital policies and procedures in making daily decisions
