Slippery Rock Area Parks and Recreation is a non-profit park in Slippery Rock, PA. Our goal is to provide leisure and educational opportunities to residents of Slippery Rock and the surrounding area. We offer a range of activities including:
Play safe- Our afterschool daycare program.
Pre-K/Tiny tots- Preschool programs
Swim, Baseball, Soccer, Football, basketball.

We are looking for a community minded individual that enjoys interacting with the public at various functions, a lover of the outdoors and recreation activities and a flexible organized individual to help ensure that all of our programs are organzied and ready to go.
This Role has a wide range of activities to be involved in throughout the year with the ever-changing program schedule. A strong background or familiarity with QuickBooks would be beneficial.
PlaySafe- Our after/before school "daycare" program: Schedule, receive payments, monitor student’s attendance, invoice for additional hours, submit weekly schedule to elementary schools, communicate with PlaySafe staff and parents. Oversee and monitor summer PlaySafe. Same dties as listed above with additional responsibilities including schedule field trips, swimming at the ARC, and all daily activities. Purchase all supplies/snacks.
_ Preschool_. Invoice parents by the 1st of each month. * Monitor payments by due date (15th) of the month. If payment hasn't been made, report to Director. * Purchase all supplies & t-shirts for preschool. * Schedule Lifesteps, pictures, fire company visit, and other field trips. * Copy handbook for both classes. * Copy any class worksheets.
Rentals/Pavilions. Monitor/schedule all rentals. * Call to have individual pick up key. * Communicate with maintenance on upcoming rentals. * Copy all rental forms. * Make sure rental card is handed out with key. * Check keys back in after rental.
General responsibilities Answer phone. take registrations. * Copy, fold, distribute all flyers & brochures. Assist or substitute in classroom, PlaySafe, or programs where needed. Assist Director with tasks as assigned.
Accounts receivable: Input all PlaySafe payments on a daily basis. * Prepare and deposit all PlaySafe payments every Friday. * Process credit card payments on a daily basis. Write receipt for all cash payments and put in safe.
Special Events Organize, prepare, set-up, and attend all special events.
Musical Sell tickets on show nights, if necessary. * Solicit for program ads.
Summer Lead instructor for summer Adventure Camps.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.45 per hour
