Why does the job exist?
Incumbent will be responsible for medical records and financial duties at the Community Based Service (CBS} in Santa Rosa. Financial responsibilities which ensure all services are billed and entered accurately to collect revenues for Community Based Services (CBS) from Medicaid, Medicare, Contracts and Private Insurance.
How does it get done?
Incumbent will be responsible for scheduling clients with psychiatrists and therapists. Conduct financial intake, including completion of the sliding fee schedule for each client and updated manually.

Clients in the Santa Rosa location.
Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with referrals;
Experience working with demographics and insurance coverage;
Experience working with Microsoft Word and clerical duties;
Experience in an office setting.
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or Equivalent and three (3) months experience in office administration and/or customer service. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's license.
Working Conditions
Position will perform work primarily in an office setting with extensive computer and phone usage and exposure to Visual /Video Display Terminal. Lifting up to thirty (30) pounds may be required. Effective 01/01/2015, the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute became a 100% Tobacco Free/E-Cigarette Free Campus. As such, no tobacco, tobacco products or E-Cigarette products are permitted on any part of the campus. This position is located at the CBS in Santa Rose. Work hours are 8 am to 5 pm.
