Title Clerk
Duties:
- Process and review title documents for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct research to ensure proper ownership and lien information
- Prepare and submit title applications to appropriate agencies
- Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, and other parties involved in the title process
- Communicate with customers to provide updates and answer any questions regarding title status
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to title transactions
- Assist in resolving any title issues or discrepancies
Skills:
- Strong understanding of title processing procedures and requirements
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
- Knowledge of real estate law and regulations pertaining to title transfers
- Proficient in conducting research, including utilizing GIS systems for property information
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in title documents
